- Make sure to lock your doors and windows whenever you leave your space, especially at night.
- Do not leave valuable items or packages in your vehicles or unattended outside, such as on your porch or entryways.
- Manage mail and deliveries, including subscriptions by either forwarding or halting them when you are not home.
- Be aware of your surroundings, especially after dark.
- Remember to turn your porch lights on in the evening.
